Qualitative Research: Library Info

A guide to qualitative research.

Qualitative vs. Quantitative

Qualitative and quantitative methods should be viewed as complementary, not set in oppostition to each other. In practice, many researchers utilize both quantitative and qualitative methods (known as "mixed methods" research), as this practice gives a more complete picture of particular issues than either type of research could on its own.
