Please backup your interview files before you start editing with Audacity. Also, save your work frequently, as Audacity does sometimes crash.

Audacity
A free, open-source, multi-track audio editor for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Audacity saves your edits to the original audio file, so it is recommended to make a backup before you start editing.
GarageBand
GarageBand is a free audio mixing application for Mac computers.
iMovie
A free for Mac/iOS video editing application. iMovie is also available in the Library's Audio/Video rooms.
DaVinci Resolve
Free video editing software used by many Youtubers. Works with a wide range of file types.
