Quick and General Style Guides

Chicago style has two different types. Clarify with your instructor if you aren't sure which to use.

Notes and bibliography: includes footnotes or endnotes with bibliography at the end of the paper
Author-date: includes in-text citations and a reference list at the end of the paper

Please note this refers to the 15th ed. of the Chicago Manual of Style.
