Benchmarking statistics are sometimes called "industry ratios" or "aggregate financial ratios". They are aggregate financial values for companies within an industry. They can be used to compare the performance of a particular company against its overall industry.

Use the "Key Statistics" section within each industry report to located industry data and key ratios.
Note that US reports have a section called "Industry Financial Ratios" with more detailed ratio reports.
Includes ten years of retrospective data together with five years of forecast data.
Industry reports for Canada, United States, and global industries. Reports are about 25-40 pages in length and are updated every 4 months.

Canadian Industry Statistics are collected and maintained by the Government of Canada. Access benchmarking statistics for financial performance indicators for a wide variety of industries.
