Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) joins the ORCID Canada Consortium

From the announcement:The CFI works to increase the capability of Canada’s universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research organizations to carry out high quality research by investing in research infrastructure.ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) produces unique, persistent identifiers that researchers can use with multiple organizations to compile the outputs of their research activities. This is part of an overall effort to reduce the administrative burden for the research community in relation to data collection in all our processes.
